Special agent Leon S. Kennedy travels to rural Spain to rescue the U.S. President's kidnapped daughter in Resident Evil's sixth canonical installment. It is notable for a lengthy development cycle which involved a complete overhaul of the series' established gameplay mechanics.
I hated it, mainly because it wasnt scary unlike its predecessors. The main charachter was awful, seriously i imeddiatly hated him from the start, with his awful metro sexual look and his "what eva" attitude. The shooting itself wasnt too bad, only it got extremely repetitieve. Then their were also the completely misplaced collectibales that doesnt fitt a horror game at all. And the quick time events which again doesnt fitt the genre at all. But other then that the setting was pretty refreshing, and having a over the shoulder camera wasnt a bad idea either. Its just the terrible action orientated gameplay that greatly dissapointed me.
Definitely one of the best, but I won't call it the best.
The sheer hour count I've spent on it shows it has a certain level of quality to it. You can't play many games over and over and over again, but this one I somehow could.
