Resident Evil 4 for iPhone/iTouch Available Now
The iPhone version of Resident Evil 4 is now available officially available on the iTunes store for only $8. It looks pretty damn impressive to me, but don’t expect the same experience as on consoles.
The game is actually a port of another, older Japanese mobile phone version. Nevertheless it has impressive enough 3D graphics in the over-the-shoulder view, location-based damage and even a Mercenaries mode. Like the original game.
Resident Evil 4's controls were clunky enough to being with... this looks unplayable to me. What Capcom employee thought this was a good idea. People who don't own a Wii, GameCube or PS2(and people who do have no reason to buy this shitty port) probably aren't interested in the game.
" @Icemael: So, this game is really bad even if you haven't played it yet? "I've played RE4. I know what RE4 is like. This port is uglier, and has managed to make controls that already were poor considerably worse... I don't need to play it to see that it's bad.
