Can't freaking wait. Soooooooo excited!!!

Hell yes Code Veronica, the last true RE game. I've been having nostalgia for it for a couple months now this is perfect news.

I couldn't possibly care less about Code: Veronica, but RE4 is one of the most amazing games ever made, so...well, finally Xbox owners get a chance to play it. I've played it too many times already on the GameCube and Wii, but oh well. I may pick it up if it comes stateside.

I would get that for RE4, i've always wanted to play it but i hear the PC port is awful so I never got it

Please Capcom bring it over to the West.

I still have yet to finish RE4 so maybe this will be my chance! I played a bit of both the GameCube and PS2 version way back when. Recently (as in the last year) spend a good bit of time with the Wii version but still never ended up beating it. I'm kind of excited. I wonder how Code Veronica will play. I'm not interested in the pre-RE4 control schemes. 

The only thing that's stopping me from buying this is the possibility that Capcom will not be updating the controls to be more typical of modern games. 
 
I love RE4 (only ever played the arcade Code Veronica), but it desperately needs better controls.

I might get this - I loved RE4 so much but I never completed it, I got pretty tired of it after the game because a dungeon crawler at the castle than the open towns.  

As much as I loved RE4 on PS2. I don't need to play it again. Unless they do more then just apply an HD filter.

I never finished CV but would love to play RE4 again.

I really hope they add something significant. Updated graphics and Move support would be nice. The Wii version plays like a dream... er, nightmare?

Probably will give this a miss. I played the shit out of RE4 when I had on the Gamecube but I can't be fucked to play it all over again for the sake of achievements/trophies and Code Veronica pissed me right off.

Never played Code Veronica, but Resident Evil 4 is one of my favourite games ever next to Half Life 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Mass Effect 2 and Red Dead Redemption.   
 
Resident Evil 4 achievements would probably be a lot like those found in Resident Evil 5.  Code Veronica...not sure.  Does anyone hope that they make Mercenaries an online mode like it was in RE5?

RE4 is one of my favourite games ever, got pretty disappointed when the rumors of a remake for the 360 a couple of years ago turned out to be fake.

Resident Evil 4 was pretty awesome! it was the only RE game that i actually played through (i played RE on the N64 once or twice but couldn't get into the controls)... but it was one of those games that i played and just didn't wanna stop playing, it consumed all of my free time until i finished it. i played it on the Wii and was really digging the controls.

I'll pay money for it.

I'll gladly buy that at some point but it still seems like a punch in the face since we've been crying for a Resident Evil 2 remake for years now and what are they doing? Put out easy upscaled, higher resolution ports of games that look and play fine (well Code Veronica not as much as RE4) anway.

Was just thinking about breaking out the gamecube version again... Bring it on!

Pretty excited for this. I actually hope they don't change the controls too much, I think they worked perfectly for the game. Re-releasing CV though? Why pick the weakest of the "classic" Resident Evils? I guess its the easiest to HD-ify since it had fully 3D environments.

Too bad when I think of a RE collection that probably needs an HD reboot, it's the first few games & not just the one that came out before RE5.

Oh hell yeah, I still love the shit out of RE4... Would definitely get a HD "remaster" of it.

RE4 Better have a cooperative mode for the main game and mercenaries.

No PC =( If anything, a PC needs a version of Resident Evil 4 that isn't a complete disgrace. Oh well...

Ha, what's up with the comparison shots? The game unquestionably looks nicer running in 720p, but the game was not THAT dark and blurry running upscaled on an HDTV.

Unless they put these on a disc, I am out.  I hate DLC, and Capcom has not been making a good name with themselves (speaking of Bionic Commando 2 having to be online in order to play).

Pretty cool if you ask me. I'll probably be buying both.

I hope Mercs mode in RE4 is modified for online co-op.  That was my favorite part of RE5.
