Can you actually beat the demo chainsaw boss?   Because if you can, he's hardas heck, tons of gun shots, 10 or so shotguns, 5? red barrels, 4 uppercuts, and a couple knives.  How the hell do you beat this guy?

Edit: as for my impressions of the game,. it's good, but it's not what people said RE4 was, not even close.  I don't know how it stacks up, but while it is good, it's basically how I've viewed RE4 from the sidelines.  Neat, but AAish I'd say.  Dead Rising is better I think (which really is a heavily modified Resident Evil in a way)

Yes hes very beatable. I honestly found him a bit easier than the Executioner on the first level. Once you clear out the area of other guys pretty well, and save all the barrels to shoot at the perfect time, just make sure you have plenty of ammo. Keep shooting him in the face, and go and hit him when X prompts and he stumbles. Probably a bit harder playing with an a.i partner if you indeed were. I did it with a friend.

Mainly you just gotta make sure you got the sufficient ammo ahead of time, and don't waste it on the normal enemies and save it for him. I ran out of ammo myself the one time, and my friend had to finish him off while I kinda kited him away. Yeah almost forgot the grenades, I had one and a friend had one(or an incend nade, can't remember which) but they definitely helped as well, but if you have ammo its definitely possible to beat him without them.

He is not only beatable - you have to beat him to complete the level. He has a shitload of health, but is not that hard - use the red barrels, the electric thingy, and melee attacks. Oh, and those two grenades also come in handy.

If you've got a friend you can use one of those co-op super-melee attacks too.

you can beat both bosses, pretty easy tbh.

Electric thingy?

It's an electrical box on a pole(at the car opposite to the bus). If you shoot it it falls down and stuns enemies, and you can reuse it a couple of times by shooting it again.

i may pick up the demo, never been an RE fan, i like to move while i aim :)

I didn't play the demo long, but that guy and the executioner are tough as hell. I screwed up by getting too far from Shiva, and she got wasted while I was still shooting from a safe distance.

Excecutioner simply slaughtered me when I wasn't looking:P. I'll have to go back to the demo and give it another shot.

I took him down easily with my buddy. He's a slow mofo. It takes a while, but it's not difficult.

If you have umbrella chronicles (I assume you have a Wii then) you should look into RE4. "

Umbrella Chronicles was pretty awesome. I don't see how any person that has an interest in light gun games couldn't like it. It is RE...on-rails. And it does the job admirably. 'Nuf said.

Smug, RE4 is 100 times better. The controls are broken in this game. Do not jufge RE4 based on RE5.

use your grenades, shoot then run up and punch. its pretty easy.

I found the best way to kill him was walk him by the exploding barrels (cliche), Make sure you uppercut him when stunned.  Also, pick up any grenades or request them from Sheva.

I've yet to kill him once after trying 2 or 3 times. I find the Hammer guy was easier for some reason. And yeah definitely get RE4 for the Wii it is honestly one of the best games ever

This makes me want to play the demo again when I get home...for the 4th time.
