I read something on shacknews once about how Capcom's development process consists of them developing games for PC and then porting them to consoles. Since every game Capcom released on 360 was put onto PC (except Dead Rising), isn't it likely that Resident Evil 5 will be coming to PC?

Ubisoft is also supposed to have some kind of deal with Capcom in which every canonical numbered release of a Resident Evil game will be brought to PC and published by them.

I suppose it would just be easier to buy a 360...but in reality, it would be cheaper for me to buy an HD4850 and 4GB of ram...

What you said was true, it's pretty obvious that RE5 will come out on PC eventually. If you want to have a console AND a gaming PC then get the PS3 instead because nearly every 360 exclusie ends up on PC on the other hand there are only a few PS3 exclusives that ever ended up on PCJust a thought..........

RE5 looks awesome, and I certainly hope it arrives on the PC. I certainly hope Ubiosoft doesn't port the game like they did with RE4.

I want them to go back to the style of 1,2, and 3. I loved those games, I just can`t adjust to 4, It just didn`t feel Resident Evilish.

I will buy it on the PC. Of that i am sure.

All I know is that RE4 was bad on the PC. And I only played it on the PC...which is why I don't like it I assume

I just hope that if they ever decide to port the game, it wouldn't turn out to be like RE4 on PC, but I guess they would learn from their mistakes.

RE5 will come to PC, and it will be well optomized like DMC4.

RE4 was so bad because the port was done by an outside company.

DMC4 went to PC, Resident Evil 5 on PC is highly likely... Though Capcom said they were affected by piracy with DMC4, so they may reconsider porting it to the PC.

PC Piracy is overblown.

Not everyone that downloads a copy was a potential customer.

They already broke even on the 360/PS3 sku's, so any extra the PC version makes is just extra $$$$$$$$$$.

I agree with the extra cash statement, but I disagree with the "not everyone who downloads a copy was a potential customer," that may be true for some of them, but you know most people pirating games will use that excuse to justify why they pirate games.

For those who think otherwise I just want to say I Enjoyed Resident evil 4 on Pc it was very good as is the other Capcom franchises on pc like devil may cry 3 and 4,  hope to se RE5 some time soon. By the way to those who think Capcom ports for pc aren't good try playing the Silent hill Saga on Pc and you'll see Capcom is very good with ports even though I enjoy  Silent Hill as well on the Pc.  Cudos to Konami and capcom for bringing their games to the Pc. Square Should learn from them since konami and capcom are both japanesse like square.

The game is expected to be on pc this year, however there isn't any more info than that.

If SF4 and DMC4 made it to PC it would seem likely that RE5 will as well, tho if it still has that clunky ass RE4 gameplay they can keep it.

I hope it comes to PC, it probably will, cause that's my platform, but I won't even bother if they just port like RE4

I cant wait for RE5 and SF4 for PC , so far Capcom has done an awesome job at porting on PC I hope they keep it that way :).

Not every RE was on the PC since some where console exclusives. RE 5 will be out on the PC in 2009 Capcom has said but later this year. They will focus on Street Fighter IV and Bionic Commando first. Street Fighter 4 will have online play and several extra filters(graphics) for the PC. Meanwhile RE 5 will be co-op online for the PC and that's all that has been said for now.

I'm sure RE5 will be a good port, cause they didn't half ass it with LP and DMC

I read it's comming out later this year for resident evil 5, however street fighter 4 will be at around july with bionic commando. I don't remember where to find the article, however I read it and my info might not be 100% accurate until I find the article.
