Shiva
"I don't care how smart she is. She's so freaking hot."You fap to videogame characters?
She wasnt at all hot when she got a massive axe to the back of the head because she doesnt know how to dodge......
"Has anyone noticed how lacking Shiva's AI isAre you just basing that on the Demo? It may be a lot different in the final game, and anyway, the best way to play this is with friendsthey talked about how intelligent it would be, how you would "see no difference" between the computer playing and your friend, but it seems to me that your AI partner dosent even understand the concept of "aim for the head" and in a game like RE that is very important. I mean i watched "her"plug 4 bullets into the body of a playing dead "zombie". I understand that this is meant to be a Co-op game, but there are going to be many times when i feel like playing it by myself. But whatever, i guess you cant really judge by the demo.I am kind of fed up with companies that talk about how amazing their AI is, because it almost always ends in dissapointment, i think F.E.A.R is only of the only games i remember revently that lived up to the hype when it came to AI."
It's kind of strange to me how the most common complaint about RE4 was having to escort and protect Ashley, and then in RE5 they increase the problem by giving you an AI companion forthe entire game. Not only do you have someone you need to protect, but you also have to share your ammo and health with her. I understand that it could be cool if you're playing co-op, but not everyone is going to do that, and hopefully playing solo won't hurt the experience.
Personally, I never had a problem with Ashley. I thought she was a very competent AI character, who did a fine job of staying close to you, and ducking out of the way so she wouldn't get shot. Sure, there are some times when she's going to be grabbed by other guys, and it had a few difficult areas where you have to protect her, but I definitely thought they did a great job.
"I don't care how smart she is. She's so freaking hot."I've got to admit. I agree with this statement.
I agree that since it is meant to be a Co-op game, the AI of your companion dosent REALLY matter that much , it just annoys me how much they hyped it in interviews. but that is to be expected.

And yes, as i said in my original post, i said "I guess you cant really judge by the demo"
"First off, demos don't represent the final game. Second, it would not be as fun. You would just have to give all your guns and ammo to her, and you would never die. That would suck."
yeah but cant you at least make your partner competent enough to shoot for the head 50 percent of the time? I dont even care about the killing of the zombies its the conservation of ammo that i am worried about.
"Snipzor said:Well you generally try to use at most 2 shots on every enemy. Forget aiming at the head, aim for the leg, knock them down, stomp/impale, rinse/repeat. Plus you should play this online, not offline."First off, demos don't represent the final game. Second, it would not be as fun.
