Should i go and pick up resident evil 5?
I would say go get it, its a good game. Picked it up on my PS3 and not my 360 though. If you liked the other Resident Evil games i would say its a must. If not i still think its a game worth playing. Its a bit on the short side though first time through on normal took me around 10 hours.
I like the coop. But if you want online then you would have to buy the 5$ DlC, which it isn't worth of.
"Judging by the review, it seems like anyone who liked RE4 will enjoy this too."This. If you even remotely liked Resident Evil 4, this game is a no-brainer.
I didn't enjoy it with a friend, and I don't want to think about playing without a friend. I have heard good things about it thou.
I fucking hated RE5. The controls suck, the story sucks, the ending sucks, the bosses suck, having Sheva follow you around everywhere sucks, the locale sucks... it just plain sucks.
i kind of regret paying $60 for it. i beat the game co-op and haven't touched it since. the game is totally weak too. not scary, not interesting. screw brads review, this thing deserved, AT MOST, a 3/5
go buy Dead Space instead if you haven't played it yet.
Im also looking to play through professional steel so hit me up with a pm if your interested, also get this game its amazing
short answer: yes
long answer: .................................................YES!
There you have it.
I know I am going to get heat for this but I have to break out the truth.................
RE5 sucked ass. but hey, to each his own, right?
I had a lot of fun playing through co-op with one of my roommates. The story is fairly short and not super interesting unless you're really into the mythos, but the gameplay's alright and challenging enough to keep it interesting. Once you beat it once (and it's not a long game) though, there's not much to do but grind for achievements unless you want to shell out for the DLC, which means playing the same levels over and over again to make money and collect all the treasures and whatnot. I enjoyed it the first time through but it's not a particularly lasting experience.
