Where is Racoon City really located?

#1 Posted by Alienkid (19 posts) - 4 years, 2 months ago

I thought Racoon City was in America. But the library, it says "Construction of Racoon City's public transit trolleys begins in Europe and they are quickly put into use within the city."

So have I been lied to for all these years? or is Capcom Effin up, or what?

Could be that they just make the trolleys in Europe and ship them over. Everyone knows we make the best transit trolleys...

Approximately nowhere, due it's a Japanese game and they can't have a good creativity over another country.

Raccoon City is definitely a fictional city based in America, but in the OP there is nothing to suggest that the transit trolleys couldn't be made elsewhere.

It's a fictional city.

Raccoon is located in British Columbia, Canada. It's located deep within the wilderness of the province, and is located withing Yoho National Park. Within the park, there is a waterfall, Takakkaw falls. Behind the falls is Raccoon city, a large gathering of Raccoons in a civilized society. As we speak, they're plotting to overthrow humans as the planet's dominant species.

Oh, you're talking about Resident Evil? It's supposedly in midwestern America.

It's not unusual for products to be manufactured in other countries and then imported into the US. That's obviously what's happening with these trolleys.

#10 Posted by HykCraft (33 posts) - 4 years, 2 months ago

It's a fictional city based in the Appalachian Mountains on the East Coast of the United States.

For some reason I always thought Raccoon City was located in Colorado.

A more thorough investgation could be made but here is some answers, or theories.

though this invesgation is wrong since racoon city was in the foot of the arklay mountains and the only thing in the foot of mountain rangers is the eastern mid west, SD and colorado are in the west mid west and colorado is literally in the mountains.

They've been clear it's a remote mountain town in middle America.

Colorado isn't it.

Raccoon City was located on the Midwest.  In the novels, it was located in Pennsylvania.  In reality, there is a city named Raccoon City in Oregon.

I'm pretty sure a educated individual could understand that it means the trolleys are made in Europe and "used" in Racoon City.
