Something called "Resident Evil Revival Selection", or possibly "Resident Evil Revival Selection HD Remastered Version", is coming to the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, and while we don't know for sure yet, it might include remastered versions (i.e. updated with HD graphics and nothing else) of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Code: Veronica.

All I have to say is: meh. I have no interest in old-school Resident Evil games, and Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition with its amazing controls simply cannot be beat with mere HD graphics.

I've never played either, maybe now I will though.

That would be fan-fucking-tastic.

I hope Capcom can make a longer name then "Resident Evil Revival Selection HD Remastered Version". Seriously, they could make it longer.
 
On topic: I would totally play RE4 again and earn some achievements.

I could play RE4 again.  Don't have the Wii version anymore.

This is fucking great. I am buying this on day one.

If it is an HD port of RE4, I will jizz in my pants.

Saw this on Capcom Unity earlier, I'm not expecting anything other than what it already appears to be.

If they would just release RE0 on PS3 as well then I could have the whole main series on one console.

I'd love to finally play Code: Veronica, but don't really care about HD RE4. Already own it on PS2 and it looks fine.

Oh my god, yes! I've played through Resident Evil 4 six times already, I can't wait to unlock some achievements for it!

Cool, I guess. I'm usually more intrigued towards HD remakes of games I haven't played before, since it acts as a good leeway to get me to finally see what the fuss was about. Suppose it'll be a good enough reason to head through Veronica again, since that, to me, was one of the weakest of the old school iterations and didn't nearly play through that as many times as the rest.

I love RE4 so much.

RE4 is competing with FF4, who can be ported the most.

This is only the first RE4 remake. The PS2/Wii/iPhone(?) editions were just ports with some extras.

Does anyone think they will remove the tank controls from those games? Probably not. Its a shame because those games would benefit from their loss.

HD versions simply had to happen, it benefits  the future of the franchise when these games are updated visually and can be bought for current systems. 
 
I'll be buying it, I have no problem with this at all, what I do have a problem with is shitty Wii remakes.

RE5 was boring as fuck if but i will give RE4 a shot its made by  Shinji Mikami afterall

I never actually played RE4, this gives me a good reason to play it, though i own multiple copies of RE4 for some reason, PS2, Wii, PC, gamecube

Meh, I really don't need ANOTHER copy of RE:4.

I was going to get the Wii version to play again but playing RE4 again for trophies will be kick ass. Hopefully it will have Move support. 

Who really wants to spend time with Ashely again? Fuck this noise.

Code Veronica, on the other hand, has me interested. There's a bunch of the older RE games that I never did get a chance to play through.

Won't play it unless I can move and shoot at the same time.

Sounds kinda cool but I will be more interested if the PS3 version will have move support so RE 4 will basically be like the wii version but in HD.

I've only played RE5 but i really liked it, so as a newcomer to the series i am definitely interested in RE4 HD.
