So it's well known that Home is pretty stupid.  However, they just released a Resistance 2 area, and it has a game that is actually pretty damn cool.  Basically, you play as an emplacement turret on the roof of the Home space and fight off waves of Resistance aircraft.  It's not the greatest thing ever, but I find myself oddly addicted to it.  There's a constant leaderboard, no lines, and best of all, a good score nets you a stupidly awesome hat that's basically a model of a Chimera flagship that sits on top of your head.  I think this is the first thing in Home since chess that I actually like.  Check it out if you just haven't had a reason to go back into Home lately.

That would sound cool if it weren't for the fact that I know I'm gonna be walking around in this custom space as my regular preppy jackass avatar.  I really wish there were some way the individual home spaces could alter the appearances of the people inside them to look more appropriate.  Right now, these spaces all feel like standing in line at Disneyland.

Kind of late in the game to be getting a Resistance 2 space out there, though, isn't it?  I'd have thought the window for something like that would have passed.
