So they're not going to pick up after Resistance 2's cliffhanger? I suppose that ending works . . . I like the route they're taking with this though.

One of the most disappointing sequels this generation.  The single player just didn't click with me at all.  And the final boss battle was awful.

Resistance 2 had some of the very best character models i have ever seen, and this one doesn't look to disappoint at all either. cant wait to see where the story goes, the last one had such an insane and awesome ending.

Nice. Hope the single player campaign is awesome and memorable.

I always liked these games. They're not awesome games I'll play for months on end in multiplayer like a valve or bungie shooter, but I really liked the single player in both resistance games.

I like Resistance. Not so much 2, it was alright but nothing to write home about. But I am ready for another and those shots look cool.

I love that the 2 on the end of '1337guyzorz2' implies that '1337guyzorz' was taken.

Looks pretty good to me, I still haven't played either of the first two games.

I never liked any of the resistance games, it's kind of like the PS3s Halo, a game with a large fanbase but mediochre games and very very bland setting/background/mythos/mood

Ehh....I am not a Resistance fan. I hated the first game. I don't know what it was, but it just wouldn't click with me. Still, I am sure that this is very cool for those people who do.

This looks really amazing. The concept art alone looks breath-taking. Can't wait to play it.

Perhaps this will give them time to renew their security certificate on myresistance.net before they get a flood of (10) new users.

Say what you will about the Resistance games, but this sure does look good.

Resistance 2 was a poor singleplayer experience. Some of the most unintuitive level design I've ever come across. Death traps around every damn corner.  Intensely frustrating.

i have a lot of love for Insomniac but I have never enjoyed a resistance game. 

Can't wait for this game to come out.  Loved the first two.

Looks pretty, but tells us next to nothing. Hopefully this game is more character driven and open. The Resistance games are fun, but they've always felt like Insomniac is just trying to find their way through a genre rather than something truly unique. I loved the alien-pod infested 50's suburbia in the last game, so more of that sort of atmospherics would be lovely. 

I was loving the single player in Resistance 2 until I got to some fucking ghost thing that kept killing me, made weird bird noises then it just killed me. The multiplayer was sweet though.
