    Retro Studios is a Nintendo-owned developer. Their first game was Metroid Prime, a first-person reimagining of the Metroid franchise. More recently, they revived the Donkey Kong Country series in Donkey Kong Country Returns.

    Any word on what Retro's next game is?

    No, but it will be a real test for the studio. I'm predicting a Q4 '09 release.

    Production is in pre-alpha stage and has been approved by Nintendo.

    I cannot say more at this time.
