    Revolution Software was founded in 1990 by, David Sykes, Tony Warriner , Noirin Carmody and Charles Cecil . They predominantly develop adventure games. They are most known for their Broken Sword series, which has been ported to many systems including the Playstation, Game Boy Advance, Wii and Nintendo DS. The series consists of four titles so far, plus a fan-made game as well as a director's cut of the first game released in 2009.
     
    Revolution have a good relationship with their fans. They released titles such as Beneath a Steel Sky and their first game, Lure of the Temptress, as freeware to assist the ScummVM development team. They are also supportive of mindFactory, the creators of the fan adventure, Broken Sword 2.5 The Return of the Templars.
