FUCK YEEEEES. Rhythm Heaven might be my favorite DS game of all time. I feel guilty for never beating the GBA version I imported, though.
I'm not sure motion controls will give you the split second precision you need for Rhythm Heaven most of the time.
But I like Rhythm Heaven on DS, and the art here looks amazing, especially in that golf game. Dude looks like Tintin.

From the little they talked about this game on the bombcast last night, it sounds like the game might just use the A and B button on the wiimote.
I really can't wait for the new Rhythm Heaven game. Loved the one on the DS and could not stop playing that game after I had picked it up.
The game has been confirmed to use ONLY BUTTONS, for anyone worried about that. I was.
Call me crazy, but this is the game I'm most looking forward to right now.

So stoked for this shiz. Was sad the guys were so dismissive during the game of the year stuff when this was discussed
They were dismissive about a lot of games, some of them they didn't even consider either because they didn't remember they existed or out of fatigue.
I think Ryan said that it was alot of pressing A.I'm not sure motion controls will give you the split second precision you need for Rhythm Heaven most of the time.

I'm just happy to see that the game is sticking to it's roots of requiring extremely precise timing rather than loosening everything up just to incorporate motion controls. With this being button based, I'm sure it'll play very similar to the original Rhythm Tengoku, which is a great thing. However, I wouldn't be surprised if we actually did see some motion stuff in the unlockable "toys" that both of the previous iterations in this series featured.
