    Let the series stay dead.

Sometimes you come across a game that is so bad in so many ways that you just have to tell someone about it.  To help make sure they don't buy it, rent it, or play it at all.  This game is not fun at all, it is just a poor game with so many things wrong.  I've looked at several forums and pretty much 9/10 threads if there is that many to begin with are negative or rants about the game.  I will try to keep this brief.

The visuals aren't bad per say but the color choice is awful.  Something that I saw repeated over and over on forums was that people sometimes had no clue where they was supposed to go.  Reason being is that the road is grey, the buildings are grey, a lot of the environment stuff like pillars are grey.  When everything is gray and there is a turn coming, you have no idea when you are supposed to turn.  Its much worse at night where its harder to see and there is just really bad glare effect on every light.  Even your tail lights have this glare.

Controls are hit and miss.  Now some of it is due to just how bad this game is made as you'll swerve and bounce off minor things that the last before did nothing to you.  Drifting plays a large part in this game and its really a mixed bag.  Some people swear that you hold the button down the whole time, others say you just tap it to get the drift started.  I find that tapping it works best for me otherwise you'll slow down way too much if you hold it.

The game has nine spots with seven various events each.  You got standard racing with wrecking/buildings to destroy, plain racing, time trial, drifting, and a wrecker.  Honestly, none of the types are anything new and really just taken from other games.  Thats not a problem to me but the only thing they did to make it their own is the destructible environment.  But not everything can be destroyed and you'll find out the hard way that even thou you can't go thru everything thats grey.  You will be playing the same general map the entire time.  Slight variations and direction changes do little to make the map fun after a couple races.  Quite frankly there is no point in unlocking the next set of events because its on the same tired map.

Honestly, this game isn't meant to be fun or entertaining.  Its meant to be a cheating, overly hard sob that will regret the minute you play it.  Sometimes you'll be in second but the car in first is constantly boosting even thou its not drifting and not chasing anyone so how is it getting the power to boost?  Then another time you'll be 15 seconds ahead in first, its really inconsistent.  There are just so many things that suck any ounce of fun that could happen.  From random wrecks cause by the ai just touching you from being placed back much further then you was after a wreck.

There is a reason why nobody bothered with this game, why the forums are long dead.  This game just sucks.
