    RiftSpace is a space exploration game by StarWraith 3D games, originally released in 2004. It was the first of StarWraith's games to establish the open world formula that would be familiar to players of their later Evochron games.

    Overview

    In RiftSpace the player gets to discover the titular Riftspace region of StarWraith's universe, an uncharted region of space, home to ancient alien prophecies and weird spatial anomalies. It was the first game by StarWraith to allow players to freely roam around the universe, land on planets and upgrade their ship.

    In 2008 the game was released for free on SpaceSimCentral and the Internet Archive.
