To facilitate the most GB players on servers for people to congregate and interact with, below is a living list of primary servers that the community has loosely chosen to play on.
Pick a Server
Choose an existing server that matches your region, faction, and play-type preference and update this thread with your details ( server, character names, etc ) to be added. More people on fewer servers will help the GB guilds, so it's advised to join the "chosen" servers. If a server hasn't already been chosen for a particular region, faction, and play type, then just add your information along with region, faction and play type to have it filled out here as the "chosen" (first come, first chosen). If you choose to play on non-chosen servers, you can still add your information to this thread and it'll be added to the Misc. List of Other Servers/Players table.Guild
If a guild named GiantBomb already exists on the server, /tell the guild master to be invited, when they're online. If they're not online, do /friend player-name in the game to add them to your friend list and see a chat message when they login, so you can ask for an invite.If a guild doesn't already exist on the server and you'd like to create one, please read the following and then update this thread to confirm and have your details added to the table. Be sure to name the guild GiantBomb. Of course, others can be invited to join the guild, so feel free to invite those you feel would positively benefit the GB community's experience.
I didn't have a particular interest in being a guild master, but since someone has to get the ball rolling, I've taken on that role on at least one of the chosen servers. If we get enough players and someone else has more experience and desire than myself, please let me know your interest. I'm happy with or without the role, so no worries. Also, be sure to transfer the role of guild master to another player if you decide at some point to stop playing Rift, so that the guild can remain active for everyone else.Once you leave the starting area and enter the world of Telara, you'll need to pay 1 Platinum to the Guild Magistrate to purchase a guild charter. Defiant will find the Magistrate in Meridian (just inside the center hall of the main building) and Guardian will find him in Sanctum (around back of a tavern). Once you have the guild charter, you'll need to have yourself and then four others sign the charter, before it is ratified and the guild is created. You can invite people from far away by adding them to your friend list and then sending an invite, from there.
Once the guild is established, additional aspects of game play will open up for everyone, including guild-quests to help acquire various perks and resources for your guild.
