Ever since Patrick's Worth Playing I think it was, with Alex Rubens, I've been looking forward to this coming out. I'm curious myself how good the full product is but reviews seem rather sparse at the moment.

I've put 6 hours into it, just playing solo, and man its a hell of a good time. I beat the game once ( I got DOZENS of lucky drops) and I only unlocked 6 out of the 10 playable characters. Most of the characters don't lend themselves all to well to single player, but with other dudes runnin around with you they would be great assets (i.e the Sniper).

I just beat it in a online coop game too, so I have 4/10 unlocked now. I agree that there are classes that are hard to solo with, but seems fun in groups.

Also, I think this game is pretty good. Try the demo out if you're curious.

I played a little bit of solo and did not like the first class at all. It's pretty annoying that they lock so much behind a progression wall.

i would love to play but i keep getting an error of failed to connect when ever i try to play with my friend. not sure why...

For anyone wanting to play co-op, here is the best place to look for servers:

It's not the best, but it's something. You can also change the max player # by editing config files (I've seen 20 player servers but that sounds broken as fuck).

@meatsofevil: You been able to unlock characters? I'm pretty bad, and have no idea how. I know it has something to do with monster logs, how do you get them? I'm probably just being an idiot, but I wish they explained their systems better

• Collecting 15 monster logs unlocks the Huntress.
• Beating level 3 nets you the Bandit.
• Finding the hidden door on the last level gets you Han-D the robot janitor.
• Defeating the Magma Worm, The Wandering Vagrant, and Colossus bosses entitles you to the Enforcer.
• Buy 40 drones cumulatively let's you obtain the Engineer.

And that's all I've unlocked thus far.
