Phantasmagoria was considered pretty fucked up back in the day, though I never had a chance to play it myself. I wonder how Dave's adventure into this is going to turn out.
Anyone here have memories of playing this game? How do you remember it?
Game » consists of 5 releases. Released Jul 31, 1995
I think it's great that the Sierra school of adventure games are getting featured on the site. I was a Sierra kid instead of a LucasArts kid back in the days and really enjoyed that Sierra conversation that popped up on the Bombcast way back when Brad talked about reading the Wikipedia article for Sierra and Roberta Williams.

I can only hope that this will eventually lead to Shivers. I love that game more than it probably deserves.

If only it was the sequel.
Holy shit is PMG 2 the most bat shit insane and B-Movie like adventure game EVER.
Well, considering that it's a FMV adventure game, I can only see good things coming from this. In any case, I'd imagine that Phantasmagoria is at least a few steps above Police Quest SWAT. It's still a Roberta Williams adventure game though, so the amount of moon logic will probably be through the roof.
@Kordesh: what you saw was the live stream, they haven't uploaded the video yet. Just a warning: It turns into a 4 something hour Endurance Run.

Meaning that this will definitely be uploaded in multiple parts.
Did they finish the game?

Hadn't watched the live-stream, so looking forward to seeing it on the Subscriber video section. I hope Dave and Vinny tore this game a new one MST3K/Beavis and Butt-head style because I hate point-and-click adventure games with a burning hot passion for the tortured fucking logic in those games.

Oh man, I can't wait for this to get uploaded then.
Please let this one go up real soon, I'm over here refreshing the site like an insane person (cause you gotta be to appreciate the retardedness/brilliance that is Phantasmagoria)
Oh man i really hope this gets uploaded, i was watching it for 10 minutes and decided to stop watching so i could save it for a later date. It looked too awesome. I suspect the size of the video is the reason it may take a while, or at least i hope so.
My only disappointment is that I played Phantasmagoria recently at Halloween. Still looking forward to their reactions! I know I laughed my way through a lot of the game.

Same. Sierra games were always played in my house. Police Quest was always my favorite. I liked it better than King's or Space Quest, but it is the most underrated of the old Sierra games.
