the next step in gaming, kinda gave me goosebumps...

I know what you mean. I will not wade in water if I can't see the bottom, and you bet your ass I wouldn't swim in it. This sounds incredibly distressing, and not at all in a fun way.
Yeah, I kind of agree, but also, I think that's kind of what's attractive about it, because it's a new experience.

A few near drowning experiences as a young kid. I assume that has something to do with it, but who knows.
I would love to try Deep Sea for myself sometime. I can only imagine how neat it'd be to stumble upon it.
I am too much of a Germaphobic to play that game. Especially since I have to share the mask with others.

I'm not scared of water. I'm scared of the unknown. I'd be perfectly fine in well lit, clear tropical waters. It's murky water, and the deep sea that I have no interest in being near. I don't like not knowing if something dangerous like a shark or an alligator might be near me.
More than anything, the ripped-denim aesthetic of the mask itself scares me more than the concept of the game. It looks more like a Jigsaw creation than a gaming headset.
On a related note, whatever did happen to Nidhogg? It looked fairly done (and amazing) two years ago, and the site has no new news since then. GIVE IT TO ME ALREADY
I really want more games to be like this and tackle more unique circumstances. I really want to play this, I hope it spreads out or more experiences like it take off so I could try out something like this in my neck of the woods.

I am not particularly afraid of germs but still the first thing that came to my mind when Patrick was talking about this game was "a lot of people have probably sweated in that thing... not sure I wanna wear that".
