Because when I think Metal, I think Rage Against the Machine and Queens of the Stone Age.
Yet, those two are the ones I want to get most, I love being a hypocrite.

Umm...I'm guessing this is a stand-alone disc?  If so, I guess that's cool...although they could've seriously been a LITTLE more metal than this.  I do enjoy jamming on "Two Weeks", though.

Yeah...the term "metal" is being used a bit too loosely here.

But I don't care, more Blue Öyster Cult and Rage Against the Machine!! But why, WHY Bulls on Parade? It's a good song, but there's much better choices, like Know Your Enemy. :]

Can't wait for them to be downloadable.

I like enough of these songs that I'd pay $20 for it, so I'll wait for it to go on sale.

I agree!  I would also take Killing in the Name Of over Bulls on Parade...I also played Bulls on Parade A LOT on GHIII.

@Blueprint12: The thing about Killing in the Name Of is that the ending would have to be so heavily censored that it wouldn't be that fun to play. Just thinking about that horrid Guitar Hero II cover makes my jaw drop.

Yeah, this alone makes songs like Guerrilla Radio and Know Your Enemy a better choice for the game.

I have all the others, so I'll wait for the exclusives to come out later.

*Just looked at the playlist again*

Wow, no Metallica? Megadeth? Slayer?  I mean even Lars said "Slayer is a must have for a heavy metal game"

I mean the playlist is good and everything, I like it but I just find it weird that it's a metal pack but none of those big names I mentioned are on it.

EDIT:  Oh yeah also Dream Theater, Machine Head, Devildriver, System of a Down (yea they're nu metal but they got Godsmack too), Disturbed, Iron Maiden.......I could keep going.  If they had me working for harmonix,  I would tell them these guys must be on it! Lol :P

Oh yeah.  Renegades of Funk would also be another good RATM song to add on Rock Band.  Hell just make another huge RATM pack like they did with The Who, Iron Maiden, Spinal Tap, & Boston.

How about just a Rage pack? I'm pretty sure that would sell like hotcakes.
