Dream Theater made me excited, as they're my all time favorite band, but what really made me go "OH HOLY FUCK" was Lazy Eye by Silversun Pickups. Goddamn I love that song and did not expect to see it on the setlist.

Dream Theater is exciting in the way that it's propably going to be pretty tough on all instruments but I was really amazed to see AC/DC and Bob Dylan in that list. The most awesome thing there is Pinball Wizard though, that song is awesome and it will propably be alot of fun to sing since I know it really well.

    Lets see...

    "White Wedding," little peep
"The Middle," starts humming the tune
"One Step Closer," starts singing under his breath
"Float On," sings at normal volume
    "Master Exploder," sings out loud
"Give It All," sings out loud while playing air guitar
"Everlong," sings out loud while playing the air guitar and  air drums
"Chop Suey," goes f*ing bananas and starts screaming and headbanging

Linkin Park made me scream in anger.

But I screamed for Chop Suey, one of the few SOAD songs I like, plus it might mean we get SOAD DLC in the future (hopefully Hypnotize...man how I'd love to sing that). And of course The Tress. You can never have too much Rush.

Seriously, they need to release a "Best Of" pack for Rush. Spirit of Radio, Freewill, 2112, etc. And YYZ could also be released and have a lower price since there's no vocals, or maybe just release it for free. ;D

Panic Attack, Battery, Painkiller, Souls of Black, Round and Round, Everlong, Chop Suey, Down with the Sickness (idk why) were the ones that I'm really happy about (Although I'm probably forgetting some)
Although I'm sad about the lack of Muse :(

Most songs I know by heart I will burn out listening to them, so I'm glad to see a lot more music I didn't really know about, Testament, Master Exploder, Panic attack... I'm looking forward to a lot of them, including Steely Dan Bodhitsattva... I like variety and RB2 looks to give me a lot of just about everything. It looks awesome.

I don't really know how they going to chart that drum intro but its going to be awesome no matter how they do it.
    "
Exactly my thoughts. Or well Painkiller may not be my favorite song, but it is up there.

    1. AC/DC “Let There Be Rock” 1970s
    4. Alice in Chains “Man in the Box” 1990’s
    19. Dream Theater “Panic Attack” 2000’s
    31. Judas Priest “Painkiller” 1990’s
    38. Mastodon “Colony of Birchmen” 2000’s
    39. Megadeth “Peace Sells” 1980’s
    40. Metallica “Battery” 1980’s
    43. Motorhead “Ace of Spades” 1980’s
    54. Rush “The Trees” 1970’s
    59. Soundgarden “Spoonman” 1990’s
    67. Testament “Souls of Black” 1990’s
    75. The Who “Pinball Wizard” 1960’s

Easily the best songs there, but if they aren't master tracks then they just won't be the same (especially with the past covers from some of those artists being so horrible).
Alice In Chains & Sound Garden > Nirvana & Pearl Jam. The way Layne Staley & Jerry Cantrell harmonize is just amazing. I think Chris Cornell's work speaks for itself.

Painkiller will be insane. The drum intro, the dueling guitars, Halford's screams that go so high they almost become inaudible. I lose my voice attempting to emulate it.
Mentioning drums... Mike Portnoy, Brann Dailor, & Neil Peart are all insane.

There is so much radness in the set list I had to section it off:
Stuff that should be awesome to play: Pinball Wizard, Panic Attack, Master Exploder, Souls of Black, Almost Easy, Pain Killer, Let there be Rock, Ace of Spades.
Awesome stuff that really surprised me: Cool for Cats, Feel the Pain, Tangled up in Blue, Psycho Killer, Lazy Eye.
Pure ecstasy (these songs should be staples in every music/rhythm game): Carry on My Wayward Son, Spirit in the Sky, Ramblin Man, Rock'n Me, EVERLONG!!

I know I listed almost 1/4 of the songs, but that is just how pleased I am with what Harmonix chose... not that there isn't some terrible crap in there also.
