It looks like you can get hooked up to guitar, bass, business, and music production lessons through the Rock Band website.

It kinda makes sense, considering it's a game about playing an instrument. But the amount of money they will make on this depends on how many people will actually want to get into the music business.

Oh, by the way, no drum lessons? What?

You don't need lessons in order to play drums, you hit each part to see what they sound like, get rhythm and go from there.

It's like a fighting game, press buttons learn moves, and then string together moves and get better!

    i notice that too.
i "played" the guitar a couple of years back but the tuning pegs used to slip so i got sick and tired of re-tuning it and stopped.

They probably got sick of all the people saying "It stops children from playing a real instrument!".

Private lessons are important to get down the rudiments, different time scales, and reading sheet music.

Also, drums are expensive to commit to and not really that fulfilling in the end, unless you've got a great sense of rhythm. I dropped a total of $2000 on electronic drums and lessons this past year, and I sort of regret not taking up a more accessible instrument like the keyboard or guitar.
