Rock Band Blitz

Game » consists of 3 releases. First released on Aug 29, 2012

Rock Band Blitz is an arcade-style rhythm game from Harmonix that is "fast, and loud, and silly, and a little over the top, and bright, and fun, and quick." It is capable of using every song from a player's Rock Band library.

Anyone know what determines the amount of coins you earn?

Maybe I missed this in a tutorial or something, but it'd be nice to know.

Coins rewarded are based on song difficulty and multiplied by stars earned. Gold Stars is a x6 multiplier. IIRC it's as follows:

  • Difficulty 1-2 = 50 Coins
  • Difficulty 3-4 = 75 Coins
  • Difficulty 5-6 = 100 Coins

Then you earn double coins if it's your first time playing a song.

EDIT: And I don't think this information is ever made transparent so, no, you didn't miss anything.

Oh that's cool. I was going to say it had to do with length of the song. I felt like I was getting more coins from longer songs... of course the longer songs were also the harder ones. Good to know.

Ah, that makes sense. Thanks!

@Sarumarine: Yeah, if you want a cheap way to grind some coins buy the song !I by !I! off of RBN. It's like a 30-second song.
