Hey guys, this game is super fun and awesome. Give it a try!

Man, I've been having a blast playing this game the whole day. Just got the achievement for winning 10 online matches. The boss levels are pretty easy but they give you a nice break from the primary gameplay.

I really like the humor, the gorgeous environments, the rendering of the rock (especially on fire!), and switching between the tower defense part of the game and the Super Monkey Ball part of the game. My Live gamertag is Russian Drink and I just pre-ordered the game on Steam, so once that comes out next week hit me up there too.

Tip
: if you keep getting "no games found," just create your own lobby. Then wait a few minutes because somebody else will try to do what you were trying to do, only instead of getting "no games found," they'll actually get into your game. It's a weird multiplayer system and I'm not a fan of it, but if you can get into a game with somebody, those matches can be fucking intense.

I fully endorse this thread. Because my appreciation thread failed. :(

Honestly. PEOPLE TRY IT. Some of the best couch multiplayer I've had in a while.

800 MS points or $10. Comes out on Steam next week (From what I've heard)

There is a 10% discount currently on Steam if you pre-order it. It will be full $10 once it releases.

Yeah, I'm really happy I went for this instead of Mortal Kombat Kollection this week.

The whole setting up your defense part can seem a little random and rushed at first, but as you get deeper into the game you can ppreciate it, but from the get-go, who doesn't like smashing stuff with a big rock?

Also, I love the presentation of the game. Very much like Terry Gilliam's animated sequences in Monty Python.

I would almost recommend going with it on Xbox Live. A perfect splitscreen game if you have gamers over frequently.

I reckon I am going to pick this game up on steam at launch. Really liking the atmosphere from what I have seen so far.

Steam version for sure. I hope something dumb won't happen and they take split screen out for no reason.

@project343:  I will join you in that asplosion.

I will, once it's out on PC. Is Steam the only place that has it?

By the looks of it, there are no digital distributors other than Steam who will have it. I assume it will be released on Direct2Drive (and others) eventually but for now Steam is the only confirmed digital store for PC.

Got this game last night and it's so much fun splitscreen. I can't help but feel that me and my friend suck at the tower defense portion of it though.

I'm not a "principle" kinda guy but this game being fun combined with my desire to support the 800 point price, err, point will probably get me to pick this up.

...not that I think the game doesn't warrant the standard 1200.

It's already on my Steam wishlist ;)

I largely like it. My only beef is that I wish they made the momentum of your rock have a bigger impact on the damage done to the gate. As it is now, it takes three hits to knock down a gate every time unless you just massively screw up each and every roll. Still, it's a pretty great game and well worth the $10.

It's well worth getting the fire upgrade for your rock.

I've been waiting for this, but I just moved and won't have internet on my desktop for another week.

Heh, tell that to Valve! I'm still waiting for them to put it back into Portal 2.
But yeah, Team Ace takes better care of their community than Valve does being much smaller and all, and generally being very active on the forums. I'm hoping they wouldn't remove features for no reason, but even if they do, I'm confident they'd put it back in if enough people ask for it.

I didn't know this was available for the 360.

Might actually get it now.

Got the game today and already beat it. It was goofy fun, just wish there was more replay value besides trying to get achievements.

Really enjoying this as well. Trying to get those keys now. Luckily don't need to complete a stage with them. Anyway, some of those later ones are really tricky.
