If you don't know Rocket League is the sequel to Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, and is basically football (or soccer) with highly manoeuvrable vehicles.

In my opinion the original PSN game is criminally overlooked and combined just the right feeling of difficulty and the satisfaction of pulling off a trick.

I've just got into the Beta and I haven't had a chance to play yet but I'll report back when I do.

    Any other Duders get in?

I've just finished playing a few games and I think its pretty great. Like its predecessor the skill ceiling is high but still manages to be enjoyable for beginners like me. It looks decent and its got a solid cartoony stlye, although there's still some minor graphical hiccups but it is a beta. I think its hitting 60 fps as well for the most part. (Although I'm not one of these fps savants so take that for what it is.)

What I've enjoyed so far are the 1v1 matches, 2v2 and 3v3 seem too crowded , but that's probably because I'm not that good.

Also I think the menus should get a mention; every button is mappable, there's POV and camera choices, and the option to turn V sync on or off.

I just hope Sony pull their finger out and give this game some coverage or I can see it having a hardcore following like SARPBC and not much else.

I got in the beta and have been playing a bit. I never played it's predecessor. This seems pretty fun. I don't know how long the core gameplay can keep me hooked and coming back. The full game seems like its going to have features to keep people playing so well see how it goes. Its a pretty fun and simplistic game.
