    Overview

Rockman is a 1985 action/puzzle game developed by Smiling Assassin and produced by Mastertronic for various home computer systems. Rockman is the eponymous protagonist, a troglodyte who is craving mushrooms. Unfortunately, there are dangers in Rockman's way that prevent him from easy access to his food. Rockman must push boulders to disable these creatures and environments.

The gameplay of Rockman is very similar to Boulder Dash, to the point where many databases outright call it a "Boulderdash clone" or in a genre called "Boulderdash". Players push rocks to open up new paths to mushrooms, and can defeat enemies as well by dropping one on them.
