Rohan is in J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle Earth and is one of the realms controlled by men. Rohan lies just east of Mordor and plays a significant role in The Lord of the Rings.

Rohan is a realm in J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle Earth. It plays a significant role in The Lord of the Rings. Cities inside Rohan include Edoras, Helm's Deep, Dunharrow and Snowbourne. Rohan borders Gondor to the south, and Isengard to the west. Rohan has an alliance with Gondor, in which they will come to each other's aid if the beakens are ever lit.
