You can kill them in the first one too, you could make one of the rollercoasters that goes down a large slope then up another slope but stops almost at the top go too fast and just makes it go flying off the track and it explodes and kills everybody.
I haven't played and I didn't give enough time to RCT 2(it was growing on me). Now for the first one, it is one of, if not the, top most played game for me. SOOO many hours went into that game and I enjoyed every minute of it. I should definitely go back and install them on my laptop and bring back the memories. :)
2 is my favorite, spent so many hours designing my own coasters :). I bought 3 a little while ago and wasn't digging it, it does have a cool unlimited cash mode though if you're into that. I also have the waterpark add-on for 3 and it was pretty lame IMO, building pools really is not fun.
I never really played this series much. It was installed on my schools computers way back in the day and I used to fool around with it a little bit. I say go with 2.
