Rui is Wes' sidekick in Pokemon Colosseum.

Overview
Rui stars in Pokémon Colosseum (Game) beside Wes who rescues her from being kidnapped by Team Snagem (Concept) early in the game. Shortly after she reveals to Wes that she has a psychic ability that allows her to distinguish a Shadow Pokémon (Franchise) from a regular Pokemon, which is impossible to the naked eye. After learning of Snagem's plans to steal Pokemon and turn them into heartless fighters she decides to accompany Wes on his mission to stop Team Snagem. Since Wes is the classic silent protagonist Rui takes on the role of talking during cutscenes to explain their goals. Rui is not originally from the Orre (Location) region and was on the way to visit her grandparents before she was kidnapped. Also an interesting note, Rui does not appear to have any Pokemon of her own.
Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness
Much like Wes, Rui is only mentioned in passing during the events of Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness, the sequel to Pokemon Colosseum. Her whereabouts are unknown.
