A Shinigami in the 13th division of the Gotei 13, whom during her time training to become a Shinigami was adopted into the Kuchiki clan. She becomes a pivitol character through introducing Ichigo Kurosaki to the spirit realm.
Introduction
A shinigami from squad 13. Rukia grew up in the "hanging dog" area of the Ruken District along with Renji Abarai. Her potential was noticed by the Kuchiki Clan and was adopted becoming the younger sister of Byakuya. Nearly executed in Aizen's plot, she was rescued by Ichigo and her friends.Her old fashioned speech, dignified behaviour and aesthetic sense she shares with Byakuya set her apart.
