    Ryan Cooper is the main character from ProStreet, which was Electronic Arts' 2007 NFS game release. Cooper does not have any personality or identity at all, as the aim of the character creation was to make the player feel that they are Ryan Cooper in-game. However, there is something of a background to Cooper.
     

    Background

    According to different voices in ProStreet, Cooper is an ex-street racer who happens to have converted to legitimate racing. Whether he left illegal racing behind willingly or not is unknown, though his initial legally sanctioned race is a victory. Upon winning this race, he is taunted by Ryo Watanabe, the 'Showdown King', as he proclaims himself. This sets the scene for the game story...
