The Good: There are three rival gangs to take down, each with its own storyline. There are so many different activities to explore that I didn't even get a chance to try them all before I'd beaten the game. Weapons are a blast, and even the unrealistic driving grew on me after a while. Plus, Stilwater's radio stations broadcast so many songs from so many genres that the game's soundtrack never plays out.

The Bad: Saints Row 2 caused my 360 to crash without warning on two separate occasions. Idle chatter that I heard while walking down Stilwater's streets was funnier than the gags written into most cut-scenes. I failed certain missions and activities several times almost entirely because of suicidal enemies, seemingly-suicidal allies, or both. And the final few missions against Ultor were awfully anti-climactic.

The Stand-out Moment: Exacting revenge from the leader of the Brotherhood!

The Verdict: 8.5 (out of 10)
