    Growing Up In The Row...

Playing the first Saints Row game for me was not entirely satisfying (3/5). Did not care too much for the way it ended with the story and with how the whole thing felt. Fast forward to present time things have changed. This time around Volition got a lot of things right, but others that they didn't get right.

    Story: (4/5)
+ From where the first game left off. This story I would have to say it is better than the first one. Seems to tie in very well together. I wonder what Volition will do next.

    Gameplay: (4/5)
+ Controlling your character was tight as well as aiming guns. Minor clipping that you see in any open world game.
+ Driving took some getting used to after playing GTA4, where the cars seemed to handle differently.
+ Shooting was spot on with what I thought it would be.
+ All Activities are lots of fun, but I never did racing because I don't think racing is fun in a game that's not a racing sim.
+ Missions seems well spread out in what your doing.
+ GPS was a great add-on feature for this game, but needs to update quicker.
    - Melee was something to be a little more desired than flailing your arms and feet around.
    - Camera viewing was little too close for me. Getting caught on walls and not keeping up in driving when you turn the camera were the worst of the camera.
    - A.I. was not great. Homies standing there getting shot and not hiding does not seem right. Plus they always seems to get lost to where you have to go back and get them.

    Graphics: (3/5)
+ Overall look of Still water was nice to look at. Did not add much in size of the city, but mostly refined it.
+ Character creation was nice an deep with what you wanted your character to be. (I went with a Sephiroth looking guy)
    - Taunts were something pretty fun to mess with but was not ever used for anything worth while besides the achievements.
-Draw distances, I can never understand why if i look one way and see a car in front of me and turn the camera around 360* and have it be gone was strange. Or why cars appear at one height while flying but disappear and come back at a lower height.

    Sound: (4/5)
+ Voice acting was well done. Like hearing some big name voices of people who can act .
+ Sound effects were nice. Nothing special but well done.
+ Radio stations are good, but if your looking for something like GTA4 you won't find it here.

    Longevity: (5/5)
+ Online co-op is amazing to play with a friend. One of the best thing this game brings to the table.
+ Game takes a good 20+ hours to complete for main missions only. Throw in another 20+/- hours of side missions and this game will take up most of your time.
+ Achievements are pretty easy to difficult to get. Ranging from complete side missions to doing co-op  missions together, to completing the main missions.
<I did not play Multiplayer so I can not say how good or bad that area is or how long it will keep you entertained.>

    Final Verdict: (Rent)
    * Saints Row 2 is a great game that puts GTA on its toes to improve their game, but does not dethrone them. A few minor hiccups and freezes that can be over looked for the story that they are telling about your character raising the Saints again. With all the extras they offer, I don't think that after you beat the game that there is much else to do in this game.

      Own this game. 0

The first game in the recently announced trilogy of Saints Row proved itself as an over-the-top arcade-like alternative to Grand Theft Auto.   The sequel does not disappoint, as almost all aspects have been improved including the graphics, gameplay, activities and fun factor. The sheer number of things to do, combined with the competitive and co-operative multiplayer modes will make this game last a very long time for most ardent gamers. You play as anyone; almost any face could be made with ...

This might not be GTA IV, but man, it's still very good 0

Saints Row 1 really took the gaming world by storm, with it's great open-world gameplay and good story. Saints Row 2 is here and takes place about 4 years after the first Saints. Your in a coma after having the shit blown out of you and you have to fight through loads of dolphins in your coma -- alright I'm lying. You actually start off after you woke up from your "coma". This leads to one of the best features, although there is a lot of them, this is by far one of the most detailed feature. You ...
