Looks fucking awesome. The Volition guys obviously saw Shoot 'Em Up. Sounds like they couldn't get Eliza Dushku back though.
Game » consists of 22 releases. Released Nov 15, 2011
Shame on Eliza. But then again... You shoot out the windshield of a fucking cargo plane and fly through it!
Sold.
Maybe it's because I've been hearing this guy's voice everywhere lately, but is the default Boss voiced by Troy Baker?! Sucks that there's no Eliza... Shaundi definitely looks like an entirely different character though at this point altogether, let alone from the VA front =/ Less of a hackysack lovin' hippie and more of a RnB Queen.
That aside, this looks incredible! It's the opening mission, and for a game like this it naturally has to be bombastic, but with that said the production values still definitely look to of gone up a few notches from SR2.
Meat-shields for everyone and at every altitude. I gotta admit, that looks like a lot of fun and it was funny, too which raises my interest level even higher. I hope the rest of the game is good, because this looks like a "must buy" game for me, now.
I think he sounds like Nolan North.@Abyssfull said:

I demand they bring back the cockney accent for the main character. That was the best thing about SR2.
That and the Beverly girl voice for the female.... and male too of course. God I hope they allow you to choose your voice again! They were all really great performances too in SR2 - so much so that I completed the story with each one.I demand they bring back the cockney accent for the main character. That was the best thing about SR2.
Apparently they couldn't get Charles Shaughnessy back to do the voice. They haven't said whether they're eliminating that voice or getting someone else to do it though.I demand they bring back the cockney accent for the main character. That was the best thing about SR2.

I second this. If I can't recreate my extremely overweight, half naked Brit, I'm gonna be pissed.
This game comes out a week after Modern Warfare 3 and 4 days after Skyrim. Hm.And only two weeks after Uncharted 3... a busy month for sure. Hell, you already listed it all out yourself ;P
This is November:Absolutely lovely.
- Saints Row: The Third
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
- Modern Warfare 3
- Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception
- Assassin's Creed: Revelations
I saw this video of this game earlier today.
The player character dropkicked a guy on the street and proceeded to surf the sidewalk on his body...
This game is all I ever wanted.
This is becoming the Bayonetta of 3rd person sandbox GTA style games.
It's also quickly becoming one of my most anticipated titles of the year, in a guilty pleasure sort of way... but goddammit, why does it have to come out a couple days after Skyrim?
Ah well, I guess this is my holiday game.
It's confirmed, the Boss' voice in the video is Troy Baker.
