I just entered the code for the co-op online pass(PS3), but I didn't get any download for SR2.

The offer should still be available(Feb. '12)

Check around the Playstation Store. I've heard people say that once you enter the online pass, it's free for download.

Yeah, they don't really print it anywhere on the gamemanual that you can get SR2 for free. Maybe they're just gambling on that few users download it(I think they have to pay Sony per download for the hostingfees)

No, it is because the offer was created after the game was launched to make up for the lack of a promised PS3-exclusive mode in SR3 that was going to feature the Penetrator prominently.

Huh, that's a pretty good deal. Saints 2 is every bit as good as Saints 3 imo. Actually, I think Saints 3 doesn't really bring much new to the table at all, and kinda suffers from the same 'tone' issues that C&C did.
