Is it just me or does the DLC seem weak? I would rather have more up front then just; outfit + gun, outfit + gun. Just wondering if anyone else is feel'n me.

Weak DLC so far?
I think the mission dlcs ain't out yet? the descriptions of season pass says there's gonna be 3 mission dlcs
I wish they were included in the Season Pass. 40 weeks of $2 weapon+car packs are gonna get expensive after a while.
I can wait for a big Weapons Pack in the future.
Chum gun does nothing for me. There's enough in the game to keep me satisfied for now. I haven't seen anything that catches my eye yet. I will definitely get down on the mission packs considering my love of porn stars.
Seeing how the names of the mission dlc's could be very much like things from the main game and the fact that SR2's mission dlc's sucked ass, I am not expecting good value from new content.
The Outfit/Weapon packs don't even really look appealing, I don't think I'd use them even if they were already in the game.
The Shark Gun has some merit in that it's unique, but the Z-Style and Explosive Combat Trailers looked so boring.
You know the DLC is weak when they try to sell you cheat codes.....
when you know the codes will eventually be all over the net for free.....
for a game that, when your maxed out, pretty much has you playing as if you had cheat codes
>_>
I did buy the shark gun just for the "lulz" as they say. It's cool but i irritates me that it takes so long for the shark to come out. Not to mention that there are some enemies (brutes aside) and some indoor environments that don't react well or at all to the gun

Armed and Dangerous already did it!

I didn't mean first ever, but Unique to the game. The Z-Style pack adds a silly suit and a new skin for the Shotgun you already get in game. Explosive Warfare pack adds a Grenade Launcher, which you get as an attachment to the Rifle. The Shark gun doesn't have an equivalent in the game already.
Shark gun is AWESOME. The grenade thing and the shutgun meh though. I haven't seen if anything is out after that. Shark gun is a must buy. Others are not good dlc
I wouldn't mind having more of the melee weapons seen in the main story of the game (ie. shark, blow up doll) but checked a few places online to get an idea when the mission dlc is coming & it's going to be a little while though tempted to get the season pack then not worry so much about having enough for getting them when they do come out.
I'd be into a big pack of more clothes and customization options, but none of the stuff that's out now really seems necessary.
If it's one thing that Volition is not known for, it's spectacular DLC packs. Red Faction Guerrilla had a really good map pack for the multiplayer side of the game, but the Demons of the Badlands DLC was incredibly short and kind of underwhelming for the most part. Hopefully, they learned some lessons with previous experiences and deliver the goods whole-hog on Saints Row: The Third. Even if they don't, the main game is enough to make me smile.
While naturally no one can judge thus far since there's been no substantial DLC, I'm personally a lil peeved that they're releasing all of these smaller items that aren't apart of the Season Pass... I mean the whole point of a Season Pass is usually to pay for all DLC in advance for a discount.
The whole Season Pass concept has been a great method for essentially allowing the more dedicated fans to be rewarded and pay for all the DLC, which they may of purchased anyway, for a discount price. I've thought of it as a great way forward for DLC in general, but skimming off some of the extras as THQ have done is taking a step backwards and is frankly kinda revolting.
The way gears 3 handled all the weapon skins was fuckin ridiculous. All of that shit should have been free to people who invested in the season pass.
Haven't checked out any of the DLC yet. I wanted to get the Season Pass or whatever it's called, but I decided to hold off until mission DLC is available after I hit 100% game progress and achievements pretty fast.
Wohoo! Warrior pack is out with 3 new costumes! Wait, 4 new costumes (wasn't space helmet thing already there)? AND ALL OF THEM LOOK LIKE CRAP!
Seriously, these should come with mission DLC's or with season pass, not as separate "on disc DLC".
