I've played all the way through the first two games on 360 but I'm thinking about switching to the PC version for The Third. I know that SR2 was dog shit on PC but Volition themselves are handling it this time around AND it's only $39.99 on Amazon for the PC download (I think you'll be able to add the key to Steam as well). You guys think it'll be worth saving the $20 on the PC version?

Which Version To Buy?
For me there's a difference between wanting to play co-op and actually having someone around to do that on a consistent basis. I had originally intended to play all of SR2 co-op but my buddy ended up not being around as often as I wanted to play it. So, in theory, yes I'd want to play co-op. In reality? Probably not gonna happen.

Huh. Does it offer online co-op, still?
Not that I know of, PC versions usually always cut out local co-op.

The only local options the SR games have had are systemlink/lan. PC version has that too.

I'm pretty sure I've heard there is going to be local splitscreen.

I pre-ordered two copies for PC. A bit risky considering SR2 but I hope it goes well!
Two? What, you buying it for a friend who is too cheap to buy it himself?

i've heard nightmares about saints row 2 pc.... so i'd wait to see if it's a decent port before buying 3.
Problem with SR2 was that it was outsourced by Volition to another company for the port. They're saying that SR3 PC is being done in-house and supports DX10/11, so I'm hopeful that it won't have as many problems.

Haha no, me and my wife have two computers set up next to each-other and we both want the 'man-a-pult' to play around with in co-op.. cuz we're kinda geeky like that.
