    Overview

Samurai Shodown 64: Warriors Rage (known in Japan as SAMURAI SPIRITS 2: Asura Zanmaden, loosely translated to "Samurai Spirits 2: Legend of Devil Asura"), not to be confused with Samurai Shodown: Warriors Rage, is a 3D historical-fantasy weapon-based fighting game developed and released by SNK for arcades (running Hyper Neo Geo 64 hardware) on October 16, 1998.

The follow-up sequel to Samurai Shodown 64, 64: Warriors Rage switches the main protagonist to Asura, a demonic swordsman who only seeks to destroy the dark sorceror Yuga. Unlike the predecessor, the game lacks full 3D movement (instead only using it for dodging). It would receive a console-exclusive sequel, titled Samurai Shodown: Warriors Rage, a year later.
