Famitsu.com has revealed some details for the upcoming home version on 360 of Samurai Spirits Sen, known to us in the West as Samurai Shodown: Edge of Destiny.
Developed by Tenchu developer K2, the game breaks away from the norm, and the wishes of fans, and now sports full 3D visuals and a large cast of newcomer characters. Not since the freak 3D game on N64 has the game gone 3D and lost much of it's original charm and appeal to fans...
So what's new for 360 players? Famitsu.com provides the following details:
- Home players will be able to unlock the two boss characters, Golba and Draco. These two were not playable in the arcade version.
- When you pause the game during a fight a full list of your move set pops up, something which will no doubt be of help when getting to grips with the game for the first time.
- Modes of play for the 360 version include versus, practice, survival, replay, and Xbox Live.
- Online functionality includes a viewer feature which lets you view other players while they spar.
