How do stack your club sandwich?
Personally, I tend to do it in the following order (starting from the bottom):
Bread (buttered and mayo'd)
Tomato (salt&pepper)
Bacon
Bread (buttered both sides and mayo'd top side)
Cheese
Poultry (salt&pepper)
Lettuce
Bread (bottom side buttered)
My reasoning for this stack is that tomato and bacon has a lot of synergy, so I match them on the bottom. On the top, since cheese and lettuce are thin, they surround the meat.
However, i'm debating switching it around. I feel like the bacon could go well with the meat, so I might move that to the top and move the lettuce to the bottom.
