On September 10th 2008, Stardock's PC strategy game, The Political Machine 2008, was updated to include the Vice Presidential candidates Sarah Palin and Joe Biden. On October 30th 2008, Pandemic Studios announced that both Barack Obama and Sarah Palin would be included as playable characters in Mercenaries 2.
