Cabal

The cult that worship Tchernobog and are the primary antagonists of the blood series.
Controversy

Video game controversy revolves around the psychological effects that video games with graphic violence or sexual content in them can have on players. Other sources of controversy can range from video game addiction in general to specific issues such as ethnicity, gender, politics, or religion.
Cults

Cults don't necessarily have to be evil or out to destroy the world, but in video games it's usually safe to assume so.
Demon

Demons are generally creatures of evil, usually from Hell, who are often totally untrustworthy even when they're not murdering everyone and destroying everything in their path.
Evil Monk

Evil Monks are mainly recurring henchmen of evil in the original Painkiller game. Evil Monks also appear in many other games, especially those with a horror theme. Evil monks are often heard ominously chanting, usually in a foreign language.
Goat

Creatures that bleat. Some are also satanic.
Halloween

A night of ghost, ghouls, costumes, and candy. Some video games are based around this holiday, while others simply pay it respect with special levels or characters that embody the spirit of All Hallows' Eve.
Heavy Metal

Heavy Metal is a music genre.
Hematomancy

1) Blood magick. 2) Divination by means of blood or blood sacrifice.
Incantation

A recitation of spoken words during a ritual or summoning.
Incubus

Incubi are demons who have sexual intercourse with women as they sleep. The female equivalent to an incubus is the more well-known succubus.
Latin Choir

Any song in a video game that includes a Latin choir singing (faux Latin included).
Living Toys

Toys that come to life, whether in the form of lovable action figures with personalities of their own, or psychotic dolls possessed by the souls of deceased serial murderers.
Prime Evils

A group of powerful demons that control the Burning Hells. Diablo, Mephisto, and Baal make up the Prime Evils
Ritual

Set of actions, that are part of a religion or traditions.
Rock Music

A widely popular music style originating from a fusion of blues, rhythm and blues, soul, classical, country, and jazz. Includes sub-genres such as punk, heavy metal, synth-rock, and pop, among others.
Sabbat

A ferocious vampire sect revelling in their monstrous nature, at war with basically everyone.
Sacrifice

A sacrifice is the act of offering something (item, health, creature, blood, etc.) to a higher power or a greater good. In games, this often guarantees some sort of favor in return.
Summoners

A magician who specializes in the arcane arts of summoning. Conjurers are able to call forth otherworldly beasts and guardians to their aid.
The Veil

Alternate realm of the "Black Sun" that was discovered by the Nazis in the Wolfenstien series. This realm derives from the occult
Witch

Witches are women who can perform magic. There can be good witches and bad witches.
