Sayaka is the leader of the Cheer Girls team on the hardest difficulty of Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan. She also appears in the sequel, Ouendan 2.

Sayaka Amemiya is the leader of the Cheer Girls of the OUENDAN organization at Yuuhi Town, Japan. She had experienced a cheer girl's life since she was 12 years old. It made her to be the most experienced cheer girl in Japan. She and her teammates, Aoi Kanda (The girl with glasses and pink hair) and Anna Lindhurst (The sexy girl with blond hair -Imported from USA-) appeared at two games, Moero! Nekketsu Rythim Damashii: Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 1 & 2.

As the captain, She has a special ability -let's call it "the Sixth Sense"- to detect the whereabout of a person or maybe a group of persons who need(s) help. Whenever a person shout "OUENDAN!!!", she will say "BEEP!", and her ponytail will point to the person's direction. It made her to be the Radar of the squad.

Secret quirk: She always says that her pom-pom tell her to kill.
