Ok so pretty much every time I play the game the music doesn't play. When I get the no music the game soon freezes, This locks up my x box and I have to turn it off. Is this a common thing? Does anyway know if I can somehow fix it or can I just not play it? 
 
Well it has music until I actually start a level. 

Use more skill.

Could a corrupted save file cause this somehow? 

If all your other games are working maybe you could try and redownload it.

Mine has music issues, although not in the same way. Each time I start a level I'll have to wait a varying amount of time before the music starts, anywhere up to ten seconds I'd say. 360 version.

A re-download should fix it.
 
Tried signing in on another gamer tag and then playing the trial? See if it locks up again?
 
I never had any problems with the game besides the occasional few seconds freeze.
