Scribblenauts Unlimited is a cutesy puzzler that is fueled and limited by the power of your imagination. The art aesthetic is well suited to the story book feel and overall goofiness that makes up the puzzles. There is enough variety to the scenarios to keep your interest, and as you become more comfortable with the usable dictionary you can create some amusing solutions. Scribblenauts Unlimited brings the whimsy like almost nothing else. Unfortunately, it does not really bring much else to the table.So here is the quick rundown. You play as Maxwell. He is a cartoon man. For some unknown reason, the entire world seems too inept to do anything on their own and need Maxwell’s help. Maxwell is, for some again, unknown reason, a superhero whose superpower is to create objects and people out of thin air. Scribblenauts Unlimted continues the series' strengths of providing a creative playground wrapped in a charming package. Nothing much has changed in scope from Super Scribblenauts, but it sure does look pretty when played on the Wii U. But despite its looks, it soon becomes apparent that the Wii U version is esentially a big DS game. There's nothing inherently wrong with that, but I found myself playing it exclusively on the gamepad without even turning my TV on.
