Can such an innovative idea deliver on the gameplay aspect?

When I first put it in, I was very impressed with how the graphics, and sound came together. It has a very sleek look to its visual style. Scribblenauts starts out with a nice little tutorial to get you started before you start wrecking havock using your broad vocabulary skills .  After I got done admiring the graphics and finishing the tutorial I let loose my creative side and started to write all sorts of crazy things. If it wasn't for the gameplay though I would of loved it a whole lot more. After you get passed all the creative aspects you start to realize what a shame it is that this game can't deliver on easy controls. It features touch only and it doesn't do a great job at it either. If you want a fun game that you can take with you on the go this is it. You will however, have to get used to the wonky controls that hold the game back, but if you can get past it you will enjoy a deep rich game full of innovative awesomeness.

Presentation- 9.0, Its very clean and simple. In other words, it doesn't get "clunky".
Gameplay- 6.5, You will have to get used to this crazy control system in order to enjoy the game
Graphics- 8.5, Everything has a pretty sleek, sketchy, simple look to it.
Sound- 8.0, Its like old-school clashes with new-school.
Replay Value- 10, Every level has pretty much endless possibilities on how you can complete them.
Overall- 8.5, the overall package delivers, and it will keep you playing for a long time.

Nauts-based video games have made something of an impact on our gaming culture. Tim Shafer’s Psychonauts is a universally praised platformer and work of genius the likes of which will always feel like a perennially-underrated underdog, regardless of how much adoration it may receive. Hideo Kojima released a game called Policenauts about…well I don’t know what exactly Policenauts is, but the Metal Gear Solid games keep referencing it in brief appearances so it has to have some kind of underappr...

Cute puzzler that when it works is quite addictive. Stress WHEN. 0

Here’s a little Nintendo DS number that was quite the industry darling, some heavy flaws are keeping it from keeping that status though. I wanna give it a 10 for it’s concept, but I gotta go with a 7 for the final execution. The Good – Cute puzzler on the DS, when it works is quite addictive. Here’s the selling point, type in a word, as long as it’s not a copyright, vulgar or whatever, and bam, it shows up on the screen. Type in ‘low rider’, poof, there it is…..’minotaur’, there’s a monster….’g...
