I found Helibackpack to be more useful than Jetpack; but they may very well be identical in function.
Apart from the obvious ones (rope, guns, powerful beings), Air and Fire vents are extremely useful, as is the "drawbridge" as it is the longest and most stable bridge I could find so far.
Also, Clouds and Glue. You can create anchorpoints anywhere you like using clouds.
And my most recent discovery: Mind Control Device.
This lets you ride every creature, even Cthulhu and the Dragon.
Tranquilizer gun is helpful if your objective includes not hurting certain obstacles.
Magnets glued to Poles are a good way to get things and people around in advance mode when you've already used up rope and helicopter.
