Looking at the newly launched Scrolls website lead me to think once again about the Bethesda vs Mojang court case from last year.
Now that Bethesda has announced The Elder Scrolls Online (which they've been developing for years, it seems), is their case against the Scrolls name a bit more understandable? Not that I'm saying it's ok or that I think they were right, but I think I get it a bit more now. They must've been thinking ahead. None of us knew about The Elder Scrolls Online back then. We all, quite rightly, said 'we don't use the name Elder Scrolls - we say Skyrim'. But now they're pushing that brand. It's in the title of the game. Seeing the new snazzy website and logo for Scrolls DID instantly make me think of Elder Scrolls coming out. So yeah, do you think it was more to do with TESO than Skyrim?
