Is it just me or is the dog in Secret of Evermore still MUCH better than the one in Fable 2? Do you think thats where Molyneux drew some inspiration from? I think its definiately possible, a lot of the mechanics are very similar. I really liked my Dog in Secret of Evermore....in Fable 2?...Not so much.

I agree. SoE is underrated across the board.

I enjoyed the dog when I played through it. It did not feel like a gimmick. Moreover, it was interesting how to the dog's appearance changed in relation to the setting.

Anytime I see a dog side kick in a modern game such as Fallout 4, my mind drifts back to this game.
